Hi Beth, I have always emphasized the process of making ART, the fun we have in doing it & have never put too much focus on the final product, to us it was more about doing something fun & different in the outdoors so I hadnt considered if it will wash off in the next rain... We also take a photo of his artworks whether it is on paper or some other medium. This is a tree on our acreage that we can "update" any time we like, hopefully next time we visit it there will still be a handprint to remind us of that day :) thanks
